Problem:
Navigating becomes challenging when one lacks sight. There have been many devices that help the blinds to know what is ahead of them. However, a significant obstacle lies in determining the correct path—distinguishing between straight, right, and left. Maintaining orientation while walking poses a major challenge for individuals with visual impairments, often resulting in disorientation and unintended collisions. In some cases, they even become lost along their journey.
Magnets + Iron rods = Magnetic attraction
Solution:
The white cane employs the principles of magnetism to establish a connection with iron roads that traverse its designated path. By utilizing magnetic attraction, the cane is drawn towards the iron roads, generating a pulling force that facilitates navigation. This magnetic-assisted system not only enhances orientation capabilities but also promotes comfort for individuals with visual impairments since they don’t and no one loves being dependent.
